“From the Mud Grows the Lotus”

It’s barely been a month since her fairy tale wedding to Tristan MacManus, but the lovely Tahyna Tozzi-MacManus took time out recently from her whirlwind schedule to chat about her new project, The Oren Movie.

As an actress hailing from Australia, Tahyna began her career in the Aussie television series, Blue Water High.  Soon after, she garnered world-wide recognition from her work as the beautiful Emma Frost in the Feature Film X-Men Origins: Wolverine.  With other projects helping bridge the way, Tahyna is now branching out to be both writer and director of her film, The Oren Movie.  Read more…

Dancing with the Stars Season 16 – Week 10 Finale!!

Two Nights of Wonderful to Round out Season 16!

Wow!  It’s hard to believe that Season 16 has come to an end!  Although it seemed there were a number of predictable outcomes throughout the months, the time was splashed with amazing dancing, heartfelt moments, injuries, humor, and great musical performances. The two night Finale pulled out all the stops and jam-packed every moment full of dance for the remaining four couples.  As we finish up the season with our final Feature, Hector provides us with a breakdown of the couples’ performances along with his overall thoughts.  With him covering the dance details, I’ve added just a few personal comments of my favorite things on each couple as well.  So let’s get to it!  Read More…

A Moment and an Event with Tristan MacManus…

If you are a fan of Dancing with the Stars you undoubtedly know of Tristan MacManus.  According to Tristan, he’s “The Hot One” on the show.  Ok, so the line was scripted, but I doubt you will find many who disagree.   The Irish born and bred Tristan debuted on Dancing with the Stars in Season Twelve as a performer in the Dance Troupe.  The following season he returned to participate in the competition, being assigned partner Nancy Grace and went on in subsequent seasons to compete with partners Gladys Knight and Pamela Anderson.  Tristan’s approach and teaching method with his partners, his skill and wit are all qualities which have endeared him as a fan favorite Pro dancer.  But there is more to Tristan than just dancing.  Read More…
