Saul Pincus has a Shining Light in “Nocturne”

A few months ago I had the privilege of Co-Chairing a fan event celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the television series La Femme Nikita.  For this event, the Chairs were fortunate to be able to bring in a number of talented people for panel discussions.  Their work ran the gamut of what it takes to bring a television show to fruition.  One of these folks was Saul Pincus. Saul worked as Assistant Editor on La Femme Nikita for 33 episodes.

Having opportunity to meet Saul in person and find out more about his background as a television editor, I also discovered his very diversified work in Feature Film.  His recent film, Nocturne, which Saul co-wrote and directed, has played to a variety of film festivals and won multiple awards! Happy Fall!

Time once again for some updates!! Our Featured people sure have been busy, although you may not have noticed since we’ve still been fairly quiet here. I have had to take some time away to deal with a family health issue, but am hoping that things are on the up swing and I’ll be able to dedicate more time again to all of the amazing things I enjoy Featuring! “From the Mud Grows the Lotus”

It’s barely been a month since her fairy tale wedding to Tristan MacManus, but the lovely Tahyna Tozzi-MacManus took time out recently from her whirlwind schedule to chat about her new project, The Oren Movie.

As an actress hailing from Australia, Tahyna began her career in the Aussie television series, Blue Water High.  Soon after, she garnered world-wide recognition from her work as the beautiful Emma Frost in the Feature Film X-Men Origins: Wolverine.  With other projects helping bridge the way, Tahyna is now branching out to be both writer and director of her film, The Oren Movie.  Read more

Glance – A Film Short Featuring Geoffrey Breton

Safe Haven – Film Review

As excited and entertained as I was seeing the new Julianne Hough/Josh Duhamel filmSafe Haven, the bad news is that it has received some really not so great reviews.  The movie, based on the Nicholas Sparks novel and directed by famed director, Lasse Hallstrom, received 34/100 score from Metacritic (site that uses an average of 27 critics across the nation), and Rotten Tomatoes (a reviewing source) gave it 12/100.  Overall, this was the second to lowest score out of about 20 new movies this season.
